Ever wonder what to do with leftover cheese – well wonder no more. Fromage fort is insanely good and so easy to make, you just throw everything together in the food processor. You can use it as a spread or dip or to make the best grilled cheese you’ve ever had.
- In a food processor combine any combination of cheeses you have on hand. We used classics – cheddar and swiss. You can use any kind/ number of cheeses, but make sure they’re not all hard so your fromage fort is spreadable and creamy.
Add in fresh herbs we like parsley and chives followed by one small clove of garlic.
Top it off with white wine or substitute in chicken broth with lemon. Depending on how creamy your cheese mix is you may want to add a tablespoon or two of softened butter. Pulse your ingredients together until your spread is creamy and fully mixed.
