Grenadine Syrup

You may think Grenadine is just for Shirley Temples, but once you taste home made grenadine syrup, you'll start to put in everything.
This home made version is so tasty and makes a great topping for desserts, yogurts and a delicious sweetener for tea.
Grenadine Syrup
  1. In a sauce pan, whisk together the pomegranate juice and sugar.
  2. Bring to a boil and then lower to a simmer. Allow to simmer for about 25 minutes or until it thickens to the consistency of maple syrup.

Enjoy on desserts, in drinks or even as a touch of sweetness on savory sides (it’s great on roasted veggies).
