Paper Circle Ornament

This geometric paper ornament adds an intricate home made touch to your Christmas tree. They may seem complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it they're really fun to make!
Paper Circle Ornament
  1. Trace 20 identical circles on apiece of paper – the more festive the better!
  2. Cut out the circles.
  3. Trace a triangle within each of the circles.
  4. Fold the circles on each line of the triangle.
  5. Glue five of your folded circles into a dome.  Put glue on both sides of the last piece before completing the dome with it.
  6. Create another dome using five more folded circles.
  7. Using the remaining 10 circles, create a line of glued paper, alternating the glued sides of the triangle to keep it a straight line.  After you glue the tenth circle on, complete the circle by gluing its outside edge to circle one.
  8. To assemble the ornament glue the domes to the top and bottom of center loop.  The papers should line up perfectly!
